LONG BEACH PRIDE 2024 FAQ
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE PARADE?
The parade is on Sunday May 19th at 10 A.M. and the route is located on E. Ocean Blvd between Lindero Ave and Alamitos Ave in Long Beach.
MHF’s specific starting location on E. Ocean Blvd will be communicated to all participants once it is received from parade organizers.
-
We highly recommend rideshare or carpooling, which will be permitted for reimbursement for working participants. (Plus ones traveling separately not covered.)
-
The theme for this year is Silver Cowboy. All participants are required to wear the official MHF Pride 2024 T-Shirt or tank top and black bottoms. We will also have cowboy hats and white bandanas available which are optional to wear.
Comfortable shoes and/or other accessories that fit the theme are highly encouraged! -
Someone from the Communications Team and/or Jonathan Sirin will reach out to participants to confirm if a tee or tank is preferred, which size is preferred, and if you would like the items to be delivered to your work location or if you prefer pickup at 9220.
If applicable, the Communications team will also ask for your plus one’s size and preferred top.
All participants should receive their items well before the day of the parade. -
No designated changing areas will be available so please plan ahead.

There are various roles available. We need flag wavers and people to pass out merch. If you aren’t in one of these roles, you can simply walk, wave, and look fabulous! Roles will be assigned at the parade.
