Our Story
Men’s Health Foundation is a nonprofit healthcare provider, offering primary care with our clinic partner Southern California Men’s Medical Group. Our West Hollywood and South LA clinics accept most major insurance plans, and if you are currently uninsured (or underinsured) we’re here for you, too.
Men’s Health Foundation Pharmacy is URAC-accredited, and works closely with our care team to offer personalized care to MHF patients. Proceeds from our pharmacy also support our public programs.
Low or no-cost medical services from our public programs include mental health, assistance with health insurance, PrEP and PEP access for HIV prevention, expert care for people living with HIV, and fast STI/HIV treatment and testing with Rapid Results. We’re also proud to offer clinical trials through our long-standing partnership with Mills Clinical Research in West Hollywood.
Since 2018, we’ve proudly offered wellness classes and events for gay and trans youth of color through SoCal Club, our South LA community center.

At MHF, our Guiding Values are the credo of our organization, in all aspects of what we do. These beliefs unite our team and shape the quality of the services we provide.
We are on the same team
We all work towards our mission, and therefore we are on the same team. Everyone can make a difference with their individual skills, knowledge, experience and passion. Our diversity makes us stronger and we celebrate it. We stand for Social Responsibilities and against racism, homophobia, and transphobia. Respecting the diversity of others leads to positive outcomes and reinforces our mission to the community.
We trust each other
We believe that by trusting each other, anything is possible. We strive for a workplace based on respect, equality, inclusiveness and integrity by empowering our people to do their best. With mutual trust comes great responsibility. We expect everyone to be accountable for their actions, performance and contributions in delivering excellent patient care and excellence in our work every day.
We listen, we act
We listen to our patients and our community with empathy and dignity and we act to provide excellent and compassionate care. We stand up for our ideas and we encourage and support others to do the same with equal passion, determination, and respect.
We create a safe space
We create a safe space for open dialogue and feedback, integral both for our organization and our patients. Engaging each other in a professional, dignified, and respectful manner is key for a positive, inclusive, and productive working environment.
We believe in constant growth & development
Our organization is committed to growing and improving what we do and how we do it, everyday. Evolving is the key to staying relevant and even the smallest improvements can evolve into our biggest victories.
We commit to sustainability & financial responsibility
Sustainability at MHF means being both responsible with our environment by avoiding unnecessary waste, and being financially responsible with our costs. As a nonprofit organization with a mission to serve marginalized communities with inequitable access to healthcare, our resources are precious, and each one of us can affect the outcome by playing an active role.
We stand for patients first
Being patient-centered will help us achieve our mission and deliver the highest standard of care we commit to provide. At MHF, “reimagining healthcare” means that regardless of how many patients we see, each person is unique in every way and deserves to be treated with compassion and dignity. We listen to our patients’ evolving needs and make them feel comfortable and accepted through an open and engaged dialogue.
