In Los Angeles & Long Beach

Center for the Pacific Asian Family is a Los Angeles-based non-profit dedicated to supporting API survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or child abuse.

Chinatown Community for Equitable Development is a volunteer-run community center in LA’s Chinatown that builds grassroots power through organizing, education, and mutual aid.

 

Khmer Girls in Action in Long Beach is a community-based org dedicated to building a progressive and sustainable LB community that works for gender, racial and economic justice led by Southeast Asian young women. How to donate.

 

Korean American Coalition is a Los Angeles nonprofit established to promote the civic and civil rights interests of the Korean American community. How to donate.

 

Little Tokyo Service Center is a community wellness center that provides development and assistance services; also works to culturally preserve LA’s Little Tokyo and other historically API neighborhoods. How to donate.

 

Throughout the month of May, the Los Angeles Public Library is highlighting AAPI literature, media, and culture. Additionally, LAPL is presenting the “Stories and Voices from L.A.’s Chinatown,” a virtual exhibition in collaboration with the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, and the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.

API Equality - Northern California is dedicated to empowering the region’s trans and queer Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
