Derek Brown, PharmD, AAHIVP
Pharmacist in Charge
Dr. Derek Brown is a board certified pharmacist. He graduated from the University of Michigan and has worked in West Hollywood for the past 10 years. He has a background in retail, specialty pharmacy, and HIV care.

He is an active listener with great attention to detail which lends to his warm communication and consultation skills. He believes the core values to being a pharmacist are to be caring, attentive, as well as precise. In his free time he enjoys exploring new destinations in his travels around the world.
Kimberly Curtin, PharmD, APh, AAHIVP
Clinical Pharmacist
Dr. Kimberly Curtin is licensed as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist and works as a staff and clinical pharmacist for Men’s Health Foundation. After completing her pre-pharmacy coursework at University of Southern California, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy.

She went on to complete a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA and was then accepted to a Drug Use Policy Specialty Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. For the past 20 years, Dr. Curtin has worked in West Hollywood as a retail pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist, and a pharmacy marketing specialist at an HIV specialty pharmacy. She also worked as a Blue Shield credentialed Advanced Practice Pharmacist completing comprehensive medication reviews for Blue Shield members. As an extra entrepreneurial endeavor, Dr. Curtin created The On-Call Pharmacist, a boutique company that produced on-site flu vaccination events for various businesses including factories, law offices, and schools. At MHF, Dr. Curtin designed the Patient Management Program for our accredited specialty pharmacy which provides comprehensive medication review services and makes recommendations to health care providers based on evidence-based medicine and national guidelines to improve the quality and outcomes for our HIV patients. As a proud LGBTQIA+ ally, she has a special place in her heart for all the patients she has helped over the years.
